Blind That I May See

graphic by me!

In 2017, I’m going to be posting more girl power posts! One of my favorite girl icons is Helen Keller. I remember reading about her in my grade school history books (not many women in there!). I created this graphic with the text “blind that I may see.” I am also very interested in writing about politics this year! I will post a few things here…all the “indigos” should enjoy them. For more of my political posts, read my other blog or follow me on Twitter.

“Blind that I may see” has a lot of deep meanings. We are all blind to the truth with the current level of fake news and propaganda. Like the Russian hacking story, that Putin hacked Hillary’s emails to influence the outcome of the presidential election. WikiLeaks, who released Hillary’s emails to the public, says it was NOT RUSSIA that gave them the emails. Julian Assange, head of WikiLeaks, alludes toΒ the leak being an INSIDE JOB, a whistleblower within the DNC, maybe someone who wanted to expose how the Democratic Β Party bigwigs favored Hillary over Bernie in the primary. Or someone who wanted to take down Hillary (lots of those people running around!). Assange says it was not ANY country that was responsible….so I’m guessing that means it was one person = a whistleblower.

Yet, every day we read more news stories about how Putin himself hacked our election! The propaganda levels in our news media are reaching 100 per cent. Is it a coincidence that yesterday U.S. tanks drove into Poland and will soon fan out along Russia’s borders with the Baltic states?

Will we remain blind, or will we see?
